No trip to Bali is complete without visiting a vibrant pasar malam (night market). During our week in Ubud, we stopped by the Ubud Night Market, also known as Sayan Night Market. Located at the intersection of Tebongkang and Sayan Street, this market offers a more traditional, humble atmosphere compared to other Bali night markets.

With over 20 food stalls under make-shift tents, the air is filled with the delicious aroma of spices and street food. Most of the stalls are halal-certified, serving local favorites like fritters made from tofu, sweet potato, and tempeh.

We warmed up with a bowl of Bakso Granat Ayam (chicken meatballs), which cost just IDR15K (~S$1.34)—a must-try dish for budget-friendly food lovers!
